We saw a gap
Hybrid Intelligence Academy helps experienced professionals and organizations use generative AI in the work they already do every day.
HIA grew from how Mel and Carl were using AI in their own work and with the teams they led. They saw talented professionals with very little tech knowledge or experience. In separate organizations, they each trained their teams to use AI to shape thinking, improve important work, prepare for difficult conversations, be more creative, enhance strategy, and make sense of complex information.
They also saw a gap. Much of the available AI education emphasized tools and prompt techniques. It rarely addressed what experienced professionals actually need: how to direct AI, question its output, and use it without losing the judgment, voice, and standards that make their work valuable.
Mel, HIA’s CEO, brings deep experience in teaching, team leadership, strategy, operations, and organizational change. Carl, HIA’s President, brings decades of experience across technology, law, executive leadership, human resources, governance, and responsible AI.
HIA’s work spans advisory, implementation, and live education. It helps organizations choose the right platforms, establish practical governance, improve recurring workflows, support pilots, and build custom AI tools and agents.
