More than you think.
Say you get 30 giant email chains a year. The kind someone forwards with no summary and a supremely helpful “FYI.” If each one takes 20 minutes to parse, that is 10 hours a year spent trying to figure out what happened, who asked for what, and whether your name is buried.
If AI helps you do that in 5 minutes, that drops to 2.5 hours. That is 7.5 hours saved, plus the bigger benefit: fewer embarrassing misses because you skipped the thread and the ask.
